Linda Parlee

Mrs. Linda Parlee was born in Greenville, Mississippi on October 23, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Selby and Ruth (Thompson) White.

Linda lived in Mississippi until she was 2 years old. Her father moved the family first to California and then onto Oregon where Linda lived until the age of 13. In 1959, her father died and her mother moved the family back to Mississippi near the Brookhaven Area. She was a former nurse’s aide in the US. She loved animals, reading, gardening yard sales and travelling.

She is survived by her husband Clarence Parlee; seven sons: Carleton Kennedy and his wife Jessica of Greshan, OR, Matthew Kennedy of Carriere, MS, Richard Kennedy and his wife Nikki of Carriere, MS, Billy Kennedy and his wife Dora of Carriere, MS, Benjamin Kennedy and his wife Crystal of Poplarville, MS, Paul Kennedy and his wife Jessica of Lebanon, NH and Timmy Kennedy of Magnolia, MS  five daughters: Debbie Harden of Magnolia, MS,  Kathy Lobell and her husband Phil of Harrahan, LA, Shanda Esposito of Bay St. Louis, MS, Rachel Easley of Summit, MS, and Crystal Kennedy and Brand Blout of Houston TX; 24 grandchildren: Heather, Hannah, Carleton Jr, Christopher, Jennifer, Christy, Richard Jr., Brittany, Braden, Calvin, Emily, Summer, Ellie, Nicholas, Michael, Brooke, Shelby, Dakota, Eric, Amanda, Kayla, Zachary, Tyler and Katie and by two great grandchildren: Zachary and Lillian.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Billy White of Plano, TX and her son-in-law, Gerald Harden of Magnolia, MS.

 

Mrs. Linda Faye White (Kennedy) Parlee earned her wings as she finished her life journey on January 28, 2010 at the age of 63.

 

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176).

 

A Celebration of Linda’s life will be held with time and date to be announced.
