COVID-19 Update: January 27, 2021
COVID-19: SPECIAL PUBLIC HEALTH MEASURES
Zone 2 updated to ORANGE LEVEL: January 27, 2021
ALWAYS HERE TO SERVE YOU - WORKING HARD TO KEEP YOU SAFE
Effective on Wednesday, January 27, the Province of New Brunswick announced that Zone 2 has moved back to ORANGE level. As we adjust to these new standards and restrictions we want you to know that, as we have throughout this current health crisis, we remain available to serve you. Our team is hard at work, striving to meet the community’s needs by providing our services in a manner that is compassionate and meaningful, while closely following the guidance of health authorities to protect our customers, our community and our team.
ORANGE level restrictions necessitate significant changes to our operating procedures.
The regulations that have been provided to us are as follows:
- Public Visitations and Private Funeral Services are permitted
- A maximum of 25 people are permitted for inside and outside gatherings (including clergy and funeral home staff)
- Masks are required for all individuals
- Two meter physical distancing is required between household bubbles
- Singing is not permitted
A single household bubble is defined as the people living together in one home. Where required, a single household bubble can be extended to include caregiver(s), a family member (or other person) that needs support from someone within the household.
While Zone 2 is in the orange level our office will remain open, however, booked appointments are preferred. If you wish to speak to a staff member please call us at the contact information below. Our staff are available, around-the-clock, to respond at times of loss.
Should you suffer a loss, our phones will always be answered and we will, as always, attend promptly to the care of the deceased. If necessary, we are able to complete all arrangements with the family by telephone, email or video-conference. In addition, families may choose livestream services and video recordings to ensure family members and friends can observe a funeral remotely. Our funeral directors are fully prepared to outline the options available to families in these difficult circumstances, including which aspects of our services must be completed immediately and what can be delayed.
Finally, while we are all aware that COVID-19 restrictions are difficult for all of us, it is particularly difficult for those who have suffered loss. We respectfully ask that you join us in promoting patience and kindness as we help one another get through this pandemic, and back to a safer environment.
We are grateful for your understanding as we continue to seek the best ways to protect everyone, while also serving those in need. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us by phone (506-433-1176), or email (email@example.com).
