Florence Mary Chambers

Mrs. Florence Mary Chambers was born on March 16, 1894 in Waterford, NB; she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Augusta (Armstrong) Loughery.

Florence was a member of the congregation of St. Marks Anglican Church, as well as the St. Mark's Anglican Church Women.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She will live on in the hearts of her daughter, Jean Murray and her husband Lloyd of Picadilly; her sons: George and his wife Pauline of Rockville, Douglas and his wife Alberta of Sussex and Leonard of Sundridge; 20 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Florence Mary Chambers of Sussex, passed away on November 1, 1993 at the age of 99.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Irvine Chambers who passed away in 1933 and by her daughter, Ruth Jonah and husband Bob.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation was held.  

A service celebrating Florence's life will be held from St. Mark's Anglican Church on Wednesday, November 3, 1993 at 2pm. The interment took place in Trinity Cemetery.
