Obituary of Jean Phillips

Jean was born in Truro on May 12, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Lewis W. Parker and Anna MacKelvie.

Jean will live on in the hearts of her husband Alexander; her daughter, Ruthe Cain and her husband J. Martin of Jakarta, Indonesia; her son, Douglas Hoddinott of Ont.; her step- son, Martin Phillips of Codys; her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren; and her step-great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Jean Main Hoddinott Phillips of Sussex, passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on June 27, 1993 at the age of 82. She is predeceased by: her brothers: Norman, Gordon, Kenneth, Graham, Eric, Morrison and Keith; her infant daughter Carol Jean Hoddinott and by her infant twin sister.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176).

A service celebrating Jean’s life will be held from St. Paul's United Church on Monday, July 5, 1993 at 2:00 pm.
