Obituary of Myrtle Isabella Friars

Myrtle was born in Mechanic Settlement on November 20, 1906, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Lucy (Connolly) Parlee.

Myrtle will live on in the hearts of her daughters: Dorothy Black and her husband John of Sussex, Shirley Norrad and her husband Paul of Quispamsis, Eleanor Armstrong and her husband Glen of Fairvale; her brothers: Robert Parlee of Sussex Corner and James Parlee of Cedar Camp; her sister, Gladys Dunn; her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren; as several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Myrtle Isabella Friars of Waterford, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on July 1, 1993 at the age of 86. She is predeceased by her husband Ora Friars.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Saturday, July 3, from 7-9pm and Sunday, July 4, from 2-4 and 7-9pm.

A service celebrating Myrtle’s life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Monday, July 5, 1993 at 10:30am.
