Mr. Gordon S. Reed was born in North Minto on December 26, 1936; he was the son of Reuben and Nellie (LeBlanc) Reed. He will live on in the hearts of his parents; his second wife, Marilyn Reed; his children: Tracy, Sheila, Kathleen, Paul, Mark, Martin, Kevin and Gordon Jr.; his brothers: Rueben Curtis, Paul Russell Henry; his sisters: Marjorie, Lolly, Ramona, June and Diane; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mr. Gordon Reed passed away on May 18, 1993 at the Charles Lemoyne Hospital in Quebec at the age of 57. He was predeceased by his first wife, Gladys who passed away in 1990. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation was held. A service celebrating Gordon’s life was held from the Parish of St, Marks in Hammondvale on Saturday, May 22, 1993 at 2:00pm. The interment took place in Hammondvale Cemetery.
