Obituary of Pauline Beers

It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Pauline Beers with her daughters by her side on September 26, 2020 at the Millcove Nursing Home at the age of 88. Born on May 5, 1932 in Stewarton, NB she was the daughter of the late Howard and Edith (Stackhouse) Green. Pauline was a proud member of the red hatters and Sussex Baptist Church. She was a wonderful baker, who made elaborate cakes; she also enjoyed quilting, knitting, babysitting and enjoyed going for trips with Nancy's tours. Pauline will live on in the hearts of her daughters: Ivy Otis and her husband Mark of NewLine and Edith Brown and her husband David of Apohaqui; her daughter-in-law, Julie Beers (Billy Whitters) of Sussex; her sister, Greta Shaw and her husband Edward of Sussex; her brother, Arthur Green of Drury’s Cove; her sister-in-law Betty Green; her grandchildren: Andrew Beers (Valine O’Donnell), Matthew Beers, Amy Beers, Nicholas Brown (Tara), Michael Brown, Nathan Brown, Marcus Brown, Natalie Otis (Casey LeBlanc) and Nevin Otis; her great grandchildren: Dawson Brown and Polly Brown; as well as several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert who passed away in 2006; her son, Daryl Beers who passed away in 2005 and by her siblings: Ruby Beers, Murray Green, Ora Green, Douglas Green, Roy Green, Jack Green, Lloyd Green, Laura Brown, Albert Green, Evelyn Sharp and Blake Green. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex (506-433-1176). A Celebration of Pauline’s life will be held from Sussex Baptist Church on Friday, October 2, 2020 at 2:00pm. Due to Covid-19 seats are limited. We ask that you contact the funeral home to reserve a seat. The interment will take place in Trinity Cemetery, Sussex Corner, NB.
