Beverley Walker

Obituary of Beverley Charmaine Walker

It is with heavy hearts the family announce the passing of Beverley Walker, 67, of Sussex Corner, which occurred on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at the Sussex Health Center. She was born on August 31, 1953 in Saint John, NB, a daughter of the late Walter and Janet (Veniot) Scribbans.

Beverley Walker was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses where she enjoyed talking to people about God’s Kingdom and sharing God’s promise of the Resurrection. Her faith in the resurrection helped her through her battle with cancer. She had no fear of death as she knew the Bible’s promise found at Job 14:13-15 and Revelation 21:4 will soon come true.

Beverley is survived and sadly missed by her mother, Janet Scribbans husband Mark Walker; son, Jesse Whalen of Elgin and step-son, David Walker; daughter, Shannon Lackie (John) of Four Corners and step-daughter, Amy Walker; brothers: Shane Scribbans (Marge) of Saint John, Sean Scribbans (Sue) of Killam’s Mills and Stacie Scribbans (Tammy) of Belleisle; sister, Shelle MacKay (Jeff) of Debert, NS; grandchildren: Hunter Lackie, Ethan Lackie and Colin Whalen Guthrie as well as several nieces and nephews.

Beverley was predeceased by her Father Walter Scribbans.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176). A Memorial Service will be held for Beverley via Zoom on December 12, 2020 at 1:00PM at the link provided. https://zoom.us/j/91861894145?pwd=Y2JqaSs0ZklLMStWcGVuTElnb1lOQT09
