Bonnie Keith

Obituary of Bonnie Keith

It is with great sadness that the family of Bonnita “Bonnie” Gail (Laslo) Keith announce her passing on December 18, 2020 in Sussex New Brunswick, at the young age of 68.

Born in Wetaskiwin, Alberta on November 19, 1952 to Edwin and Anne (Tymchuk) Adam. Not long after they would make the move to Edmonton, Alberta.

Bonnie was proud of her Ukrainian heritage and she would always say “Baba made the best Ukrainian food out there”. After graduation from McNally High School in Edmonton, she made her journey to New Brunswick, where she made her roots.

She worked in the community for many years and in her short time with us, made some very wonderful friends along the way. She spoke of them often, and anytime you saw her she would always greet you with a smile and ask how your day was. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a contagious smile that will be dearly missed.

Bonnie’s children and grandchildren were her pride and joy, anytime you spoke with her, you could be sure that she would tell you how proud she was of her kids and that she couldn’t wait to see her grandchildren. She always put her children first for everything and would never let them go without.

Bonnie is survived by her 5 wonderful children: Cory Keith (Sandra) of Saint John NB, Darren Keith of Sussex NB, Chris Keith of Petawawa, Ontario, Dianna Swityk (Dean) of St Paul, Alberta, and Justin Brison (Amanda) of Lower Ridge NB; her grandchildren and the apple of her eye: Hayden, Ava, Anson, Finley and Fletcher. She also leaves behind her siblings: Richard Laslo (Judy) of Edmonton, Alberta, Raymond Laslo (Linda) of Ardrossan, Alberta, Mitchell Laslo (Ethel) of Edmonton, Alberta, Stephen Laslo of Edmonton, Alberta, her twin sister, Joanne Greba of Saskatchewan and Louis Laslo (Lita) of Edmonton, Alberta; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Edwin and Anne Adam.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176). At the wishes of the family, all arrangements will be held privately.

For those who wish, remembrance may be made to the Canadian Lung Association or to a charity of the donor's choice.
