Peacefully surrounded by his family, the death of Tolbert Glendon “Glen” Carr occurred Wednesday December 14, 2005 at his residence on Picadilly Road Sussex, NB at the age of 76. Glen was born in Geary, NB and was a son of the late Tolbert and Tereca (Smith) Carr. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Dorothy (Gaudet) Carr; one son Gregory Carr and his wife Carol of Sussex Corner, three daughters; Anne Beaumont and her husband Douglas of Upper Coverdale, NB, Patricia “Pat” Seeley of Picadilly and Tereca Carr of Picadilly, eight grandchildren; Elisa Rogers, Brent, Corey and Laura Ann Carr, Jayne, Jacqueline and James (Jim) Seeley and Jared Beaumont, three great grandchildren; Seth, Krynn and Laura, one sister Mrs. Amanda Carr and her husband Ashley H. of Geary, NB, sister in law Mrs. Alma Carr of Geary and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by infant son Stephen, infant grandchildren Christopher and Kathleen Carr, brothers Lester Carr and Adam Carr and Adam's wife Violet. Glen led a happy and fulfilling life. He will be greatly missed as a husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Thursday from 7-9 PM and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Zion Lodge #21 F & AM will hold a Tribute Service on Friday at 6:45 PM at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held Saturday December 17, 2005 at 2:00 PM at the Sussex United Baptist Church. Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park, Sussex. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
