Obituary of Eric Thomas Brown

On July 27, 2022, the world lost a great man. His name is Eric Thomas Brown. He was taken from this world way too soon and way too fast. Eric was so loved by everyone that he ever met and the impact that he had on people was beyond measure. He always greeted us with the biggest bear hug and kiss on the cheek and if he really liked you, you were picked right up off the ground! The love that he and his wife Linda shared is something that only exists in fairy tales, and we could only hope to experience what they had

His second love was his truck and all of his brothers of the highway. He was a trucker most of his adult life and he has touched so many people's lives throughout the years. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was born in St. Martins on December 29, 1961 and was the son of the late Arthur and Priscilla (Butland) Brown. He is survived by his wife Linda (Lockhart); daughters Arika Boyd (Robin) of Edmonton, Rebekah Boyd-Fraser (Kent) of Fredericton, his grandchildren Cassia and Hadley; his siblings: Stephen Brown (Marie) of St. Martins, Terry Brown of St. Martins, Diane Kallar (Lee) of Quispamsis, Wade Brown (Helen) of St. Martins, Kimberley Carr (Larry) of Edmonton, Chris Brown of Upham and Kelly Hubbard (Glenn) of Saint John; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Monday, August 1, 2022, from 4 to 7PM.  Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at 11:00AM from Wallace Community Chapel.
