Obituary of Myles Sherwood

Mr. Myles Wendell Sherwood of 1073 Main Street Sussex Corner passed away at Sussex Health Centre on November 25, 2005 at the age of 70. Born in Poodiac, NB on April 13, 1935, he was the son of the late Harold and Mary Ellen (Hicks) Sherwood. Myles is survived by his sister, Ardith Robertson of Saint John, two brothers; Sterling of and Reg both of Sussex, his nieces and nephews; Brian Robertson and his wife Lorena, Bruce Robertson and his wife Carol, Richard Robertson and his wife Jackaleen, Fred Robertson and his wife Edith, Gayle Capson and husband J.R. Blanchard, Carole Shaddick and her husband James, Stephen Capson and his wife Angela, Gloria Vankroonenburgh, Sheila Mallory and her husband Bradley, Patsy Sherwood, Ellen McAleese and her husband Scott, Susan Tracey and her husband Brian, Mark Sherwood and his wife Cindy, Blair Sherwood, Wayne Sherwood and his wife Margaret, Carol Arnold and her husband Jimmy, Marilyn Sherwood and Gregory Purtill, Cheryl Curbishley and her husband Geoff, as well as several great nieces and nephews. Myles was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Sherwood and Beulah Capson and five brothers; Douglas, Ivan, Harris, Raymond and Ken Myles retired from American Can Manufacturing Company in Hamilton, Ontario after 37 years. He loved the outdoors, going for drives, NASCAR racing and watching sports; especially the Blue Jays and the Hamilton Tiger Cats. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, and (506-433-1176). The family will be receiving family and friends at Trinity Anglican Church, Main Street, Sussex on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Trinity Anglican Church on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at 11:00 am with Rev. Allen Tapley officiating. There will be a private family interment at Trinity Cemetery and a there will be a time of fellowship with the family in the Trinity Anglican Church Hall following the Committal Service.
