Obituary of Forrest Wiggins

Mr. Forrest Raymond Wiggins of Millcove Nursing Home passed away on August 5, 2005 at the age of 94. Born in Pickets Cove, NB on December 29, 1910, he was the son of the late Edward and Pearl (Worden) Wiggins. Forrest is survived by Lottie (Buchanan) his beloved wife of 70 years, two daughters; Frances Williams and her husband Myles of Fredericton and Carol Williams and her husband Gary of Pickets Cove, four sons; George, Arthur and his wife Marilyn and Elmer all of Pickets Cove and Gerald and his wife Jane of Rothesay, 12 grandchildren; Malcolm and his wife Maria, Mark and his wife Shara, Lori, Keith and Heather, Barb and her husband Dan, Ken, Dale and his wife Tara, Greg and his wife Kena, Dwane and his wife Lynn, Brian and his wife Cathy, Andrew and his wife Danielle, and Michael and Kate and 21 great grandchildren; Jodi, Casey, Lisa, Amanda, Benjamin, Luke, Kaylee, Jonathan, Eric, Jennifer, Gregory, Katie, Dawson, Miranda, Owen, Madison, Katrinia, Gage, Robyn, Emma and Madison. As well as several nieces and nephews. Forrest will also be greatly missed by his homemaker Laurie Wiggins and Allan Dunham who was just like a son. Forrest was predeceased by his son; Donald, his daughter-in-law; Bella Wiggins, his sisters; Clara Starkey and Blanche Myles, his brothers; Hazen, Frank and Arthur and his half brothers; James and Fred. Forrest was a farmer and game warden; he also owned and operated the Birches campground for many years. Forrest was an avid hunter and fisherman. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from St. Luke's Anglican Church on Monday, August 8, 2005 at 2:00pm. The interment will take place at St. Luke's Cemetery, Youngs Cove, NB. As an expression of sympathy donations made to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
