Mrs. Patricia Florence (Patsy) Kernick of Kingston Ontario and Coles Island, NB. Patsy passed away at in Coles Island on May 25, 2005 at the age of 62. Born in Saint John, NB on February 21, 1943, she was the daughter of the late William Turner and Mary Florence (Viger) Turner - Sherriff. Patsy is survived by her daughter, Shirley McMahon of Kingston, Ontario, 2 sons; Grant Grills and his wife Cheryl of North Delta, BC, Michael Grills of Richmond Hill, Ont. and their father, Keith Grills of Ontario, 3 Sisters; Joan Provencal and her husband Ray of Florida, Trudy McMahon and her husband Ed of Burlington, Ontario, Norma Platt and her husband Tim of Scarborough, Ont. her grandson T.J. , as well as several nieces and nephews. Patsy was predeceased by 2 infant brothers. Patsy grew up in Saint John and Coles Island, she attended Washademoak Public School and later St. Vincent's High School in Saint John. In 1963 she left school to marry Keith Grills. Throughout her life she lived in New Brunswick, Germany and Cold Lake, Alberta, before settling in Kingston, Ontario to be near her children.
