Obituary of Rose Gulliver

Mrs. Rose Marie Gulliver of Millcove Nursing Home and formerly of Sussex, NB, passed away at Oromocto Hospital on April 29, 2005 at the age of 66. Born in Summer Hill, NB on February 3, 1939, she was the daughter of the late George and Florence (Banks) Reid and the beloved wife of the late Ira (McClelland) Gulliver who passed away in 1998. Rose is survived by 2 daughters; Kathy Mallock and her husband Billy of Grand Manan, Wanda Crawford and her husband Michael of Sussex, her son, Dale Gulliver of Surrey, BC, 2 sisters; Barbara Ruddy and her husband Keith of Ottawa, Ontario, Pat McNaughton and her husband Donald of Lower Sackville, NS, 5 grandchildren, Douglas, Valerie, Zachary, Courtney and Cassie, 2 sisters-in-law; Audrey Cook and her husband Wally of Plumweseep and Lois Lynch and her husband Tom of Penobsquis, as well as several nieces and nephews. Rose was predeceased by her sister Sandy. Rose retired from Beaver Foods. In earlier she was a Dietician at the Sussex Hospital and Cafeteria Supervisor at Fredericton High School. She was a past member of the African Violet Society and enjoyed crafts and ceramics. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Saturday 2-4, 7-9pm. The Funeral Service is held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Sunday, May 1, 2005 at 2:00 pm, followed by the interment at Creightonville Cemetery. There will be a time of fellowship with the family at Zach's Restaurant following the Committal service. Pallbearers are: Doug Corbett, Lewis McCutcheon, Ray Parlee, Carl Thibodeau, Stanley McFarland, Machum McKinney.
