Obituary of Doris Murray

Mrs. Doris Louise Murray of Penobsquis, passed away at Moncton Hospital on November 28, 2004 at the age of 86. Doris was born in Penobsquis, NB on June 19, 1918, the daughter of the late Louis J. and Grace B. (Robinson) McCready. Doris is survived by her beloved husband Donald, her daughter, Donna Stultz and her husband Tom of Hunter Home, Queens Co., 3 sons, Ed and his wife Donna of Penobsquis, John and his wife Nancy of Penobsquis, Gary and his wife Patsy of Cassidy Lake, 13 Grandchildren, Rod (Connie), Krista (Christian), Tim (Candi), Jodi, Sheri (John), Shelly (Dan), Richard (Angela), Jennifer (Bill), Peter, Heather (Barry), Lesley, Paula (James) and Damon, 25 Great Grandchildren, Kaleigh, Corey, Anna, Kirsti, Thomas, Jack, Andrew, Shaun, Lewis, Justin, Michael, Kristen, Rebekah, Brandon, Duncan, Caleb, Summer, Thomas, Alison, Brian, Keegan, Kennedy, Tyler, Kelsey, Jared, as well as several nieces and nephews. Doris was predeceased by her brother Douglas McCready in 1987. Doris was the secretary treasurer and bookkeeper for Murray Enterprises Ltd. She was a member of the Evelyn Gullison WMS, a member and Sunday School Teacher at Penobsquis United Baptist Church, a member of Royal Saint Paulia Violet Garden Club, and the Cardwell Seniors. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Tuesday 2-4, 7-9. The Funeral Service will be from Penobsquis United Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at 11:00 am with Pastor Gordon MacKenzie officiating. A private family committal will take place at Cardwell Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations made to the Sussex Health Centre Dialysis, Penobsquis United Baptist Church or to the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
