Obituary of Lois Beach

Mrs. Lois Beach, of Codys, passed away at Sussex Health Centre on May 31, 2003 at the age of 55. She was born in Whites Mountain, NB on September 24, 1947, the daughter of the late Harley and Catherine (Almon) Gregg. Lois is survived by her beloved husband Vernon Leland, 3 sons, Brad and his wife Jeanette of Pearsonville, Lawrence and his wife Lisa of White's Mountain and Sheldon of Penobsquis, 2 daughters, Loretta of Fredericton and Laura Lee at home, a step-daughter, Kim of Moncton, 8 grandchildren, Olivia, John, Ryan, Devin, Cole, Chelsey, Samantha and Justin. 7 brothers; Lloyd and his wife Dorothy of Montreal, Arthur and his wife Linda of Jordan Mountain, Arnold and his wife Marlene of White's Mountain, Myles of Hamilton, Ont., Sterling and his wife Cindy of Plumweseep, Doug of Toronto, Arden and his wife Evelyn of Jordan Mountain, 6 sisters; Elsie Dyer and her husband Jim of Smith Creek, Shirley Patterson and her husband Alan of Penobsquis, Mabel Wortman of Sussex, Freda Smith and her husband Harvey of Penobsquis, Pauline Bradbury of Sussex, Phyllis Lewis of Woodstock, as well as several nieces and nephews. Lois was predeceased by an infant daughter, Lisa Ellen, 4 brothers; Melbourn, Medley, Harry and Milton and by 2 sisters Georgia and Vivian Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Tuesday 2-4, 7-9. The Funeral Service is from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at 2:00 pm. A private family interment will be held at the Coles Island Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations made to a Living Memorial would be appreciated by the family.
