Obituary of Ruby Nelson

Ruby was born in Cambridge on October 27, 1926; she was the daughter of the late Clifford White of Cambridge and Alma Kincade of Salmon Creek. Ruby was a member of the Cody's United Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir, Ladies Aid, WMS Member, and a member of the Women's Institute Ruby will be lovingly remembered by her son, Lorne Perry and his wife Delores of Sussex; her step-daughter, Lynda Galbraith and her husband Bill of Arizona, her step-son, Richard Nelson and his wife Jean of Loudon, NH, her brother, Otty White of Cambridge Narrows; her sister Betty Hinton of St. Stephen; her granddaughter, Valerie Perry and her husband Charles, her grandson, Steven Perry and his wife Melissa; step-grandchildren: Jimmy Deveau and his wife Nora and Victor Deveau; Tammi and Kristie Nelson, Eric Wolff and Christian Brunquist; her nieces and nephews: Joan Tubbs and her husband Jim of Rollingham, Jane Follis and her husband Rick of St. Stephen; by her great nieces and nephews, John Ames, Rachel Ames as well as many cousins. Mrs. Ruby Jean Nelson of Cody's, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on May 25, 2014 at the age of 87. She is predeceased by her first husband, Freeman Perry who passed away in 1962, her second husband Ivol Nelson in 2005, her son, Kevin Perry who passed away in 1986, by her brother Harry White in 2006 and by two sisters: Erma White in 1943 and Ida in 2007 and by her brother-in-law Ben Hinton. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 27 from 1-3 and 6-8pm. A Service Celebrating Ruby's life will be held from Cody's United Baptist Church on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 11:00am, with a private family interment will take place at Codys Cemetery followed by a time fellowship in the Church Hall.
