Obituary of F. Tamlyn

F. Paul Tamlyn, of Sussex, passed away at Sussex Health Centre on July 3, 2002. Born in Newtown, NB on March 5, 1924, he was the son of the late Frank Oldfield and Ella Jane (Tait) Tamlyn. Paul is survived by his beloved wife of fifty years, Mabel Eloise (Hughson) Tamlyn, his son Peter and his daughter in law Barbara McInerney-Tamlyn of NewLine as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Paul worked at the Millstream Creamery for a number of years prior to his retirement from the Province of New Brunswick Department of Agriculture. Paul was a member of Trinity Anglican Church. He was the past president of the Agricultural Museum of New Brunswick. He enjoyed woodworking and was an avid hunter and fisher. F. Paul Tamlyn Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where the family will be receiving relatives and friends on Friday 2-4, 7-9. The funeral Service will be held from Trinity Anglican Church on Saturday, July 6, 2002 at 11:00 am, with Rev. David Barrett officiating. Interment at Kirk Hill Cemetery. The Pallbearers are: Stephen Hughson, Allison Thorne, Daniel Tait, Rocky Perry, John Dysart and George Sharp. Honorary Pallbearers are: Mike Cummings, Murray Tait, Wayne MacLeod, Bob Ness, Garfield Perry, Tom Anderson, Don MacVey, Sidney Kelso, Wayne Coates and Lawrence Cook.
