Mr. David James Powell, of Church Ave. Sussex, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on December 4, 2001. Born on July 5, 1943, he was the son of Flossie Powell of Sussex and the late Arthur W. Powell who passed away in 1958. David is survived by his mother, 2 daughters Judy Booth and her husband Harry of Cassidy Lake, Donna Secord and her husband Paul of Penobsquis, 2 grand children Jesse Secord and Krista Booth, 3 sisters Joan Folkins of Sussex, Cathy Roy and her husband Donnie of Bathurst, Susan Adair and her husband Lawrence of Millbrook, 2 brothers Carl and his wife Joan of Mt. Middleton and Ron and his wife Debbie Millbrook, several nieces and nephews. David is also survived by his special friend Helen Proctor. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where the family will be receiving relatives and friends on Wednesday 7-9. A Graveside Service will be held from Kirk Hill Cemetery on Thursday, December 6, 2001 at 11:00 am, with Rev. Allen Tapley officiating. Donations made to the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
