Obituary of Walter Seymour

Mr. Walter Ernest Seymour, of Magnolia Ave. Sussex, NB passed away at Sussex Health Centre on August 20, 2001. Born in New York Island, NY on January 30, 1932, he was the son of the late Stanley and Stella Seymour. Walter is survived by his beloved wife Marina (Lamb) Seymour, 5 daughters; Sandra (Sandie) Simpson and her husband Mike of Delta, BC, Carol Seymour and her husband Tom Brent of Calgary, Kathryn (Kathy) Baskin and her husband Charles of Plumweseep, Angela Smith and her husband Bob of Great Village, NS, Shelly of Keirsteadville, 2 brothers Gordon and his wife Shirley of Sussex, David and his wife Celia of Berwick, her sister Lois Stewart and her husband Ward of Berwick, 9 grandchildren Casey, Andrea, Melanie, Anthony, Kimberly, Andrew, Danielle, and Stephany,1 great grand child Dallyn, several nieces and nephews. Walter was a self employed in heavy equipment, and worked with J. Clark & Sons, and the Dept. of Highways. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church, a 25 year member of the Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch # 20, a Member of Zion Lodge #21 F& AM, and volunteered for St. John Ambulance, Sussex Tourist Bureau, and Meals on Wheels. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), the family will be receiving relatives and friends on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9. The Funeral Service will be held from St. Paul's United Church on Thursday, August 23, 2001 at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Bob Hussey officiating. Interment will follow at Wesley Cemetery, Berwick
