Obituary of Margaret Burns

Mrs. Margaret A. Burns, of Birch Haven Special Care Home and formerly of Brookview Trailer Park, Sussex Corner, N.B. passed away at Sussex Health Centre on September 26, 2000. born in Pearsonville New Brunswick on January 19, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Bessie (Long) Sprague. She was the beloved wife of the late Rev. James Burns who passed away in 1987. Margaret is survived by her daughter - Mary and husband Kevin Dryden of Brampton, Ontario; 2 sons; Robert of Norton and Richard and wife Donna of Caledonia. Ont., 2 sisters; Emma Spragg of Saint John, and Helen Thorne of Picadilly, 7 Grandchildren, Penny, Patrick, Dean, Christian, Candace, Timothy and David and Great Grandson Christopher as well as by several nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her daughter Janet Sadler and by 5 brothers Richard, Ralph, Ronald, Harold, Gordon and by a sister Grace. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of WALLACE FUNERAL HOME 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) http://www.wallacefuneralhome.com or email at sbaldwin@wallacefuneralhome.com, the family will be receiving relatives and friends on Wednesday 7-9, Thursday 2-4,7-9 at Wallace Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held from Calvary Pentecostal Church on Friday, September 29, 2000 at 11:00 am, with Brother Raymond Beasley and Brother Stephen Ashfield Officiating. Interment at Kirk Hill Cemetery. Donations made to Foreign Missions, Cancer Society or the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
