Obituary of James Linfield

James Linfield was born in Petitcodiac on March 22, 1931, he was the son of the late Ernest H. and Kate E. (Gammon) Linfield and was the husband of the late Audrey F. (Ayles) Linfield.

Frank was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch #20. He was also a retired woodsman.

Mr. James Frank Linfield of Sussex, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on December 9, 1999 at the age of 68. James will be remembered by a daughter; Diana Wright and her husband Ed of Waterford; four sons; Fred and his wife Joanne Green of Millstream, David and his wife Kathy Arsenault of Edmonton Alberta, Mike of Moncton, George and his wife Verda of Edmonton, Alberta; brother; George of Tatamagouche, NS, sister Edie Alward of Quinell, BC; 13 grandchildren; Randy, Chuck, Janie, Marcia, Ruby, Kim, Debbie, Michael, Amy, LeeAnn, Tony, Katie and Emily; three great grandchildren; Zachary, Tyler and Cassandra.

Frank was predeceased by a Brother; Bill and a Grandson; John.

The Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch # 20 will hold a tribute on Saturday Evening at 6:45PM

The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM Saturday 2-4 & 7-9 PM .

A service celebrating James Frank's life will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Sunday, December 12, 1999 at 2:00 pm. The interment will take place at Evergreen Memorial Park.
