Obituary of Kenda Rae Paterson

Kenda was born in Sackville, NB on January 18, 1971, she was the daughter of Ken and Ruth (Coombs) Mitton of Sackville. Kenda was a graduate of Tantramar High School and attended Mount Allison University and University of New Brunswick. She was a dedicated kindergarten teacher at Salisbury Elementary School; a career she chose at the age of five. Kenda was a member and leader of the Girl Guides of Canada for several years. She currently was a leader in Awana in Havelock and a dedicated member of the New Canaan Baptist Church. Kenda will live on in the hearts of her parents; Dale, her loving husband for over 17 years; their beautiful daughters: Rayelle and Kali, as well as several brothers and sisters-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family. It is with heavy hearts that we announce Kenda Rae (Mitton) Paterson of Canaan Forks passed away at the Moncton Hospital on June 3, 2015 at the age of 44. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). Visitation will be held at New Canaan United Baptist Church 6145 Route 112 New Canaan, NB E4Z 6A7 on Friday 1-3 and 6-8pm. A service celebrating Kenda’s life will be held from the Church on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 11:00 am.
