Obituary of Dirk Johan Hugenholtz

Mr. Dirk Johan Hugenholtz was born in Surabaya, Indonesia on March 19, 1941; he was the son of the late Kees and Aleida (Bolleman) Hugenholtz.

He will live on in the hearts of his sons: Bastiaan Hugenholtz of Seattle, Mike Hugenholtz and his wife Lori of Saint John and Reinier Hugenholtz and his wife Angela of Saint John; his brother, Hans Hugenholtz and his wife Olga of New Zealand; his grandchildren: Sarah, Ryan, Mia, Alex, Sophie and Regan; the mother of his children: Jannie Hugenholtz of Sussex; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Dirk Hugenholtz passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Saint John Regional Hospital on September 9, 2019 at the age of 78.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). A celebration of Dirk's life will be held on Monday, September 16, 2019 at 6pm.
