It is with sadness that the family of Mary Louise McCurdy, age 73, announces her death which occurred on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at the Sussex Health Centre.  She was born on July 21,1947, in Saint John, NB, a daughter of the late William and Mona (Madden) MacDonald. Mary was the warmest, loving mother and grandmother, she lived to see her family happy and safe. Her smile lit up a room and her laugh infectious. You never left her home hungry, for years she had a deep freeze dedicated to homemade pie. Mary was always dressed in the latest fashion and considered her fur coat and leather pants to be casual. She retired from Air Canada after 15 years of fun and worked hard for most of her life. Mary loved to visit the beach and spend time with her family and friends. Anyone who knew Mary was blessed. Mary is survived by her daughter Danielle Henry and her husband Justin of Sussex, NB and grandson Matthew.  She was predeceased by her infant granddaughter, Iris Joy Henry. Mary’s dog Honey was also a great companion. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433- 1176) from where visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, 2020 from 6 to 8pm.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Mary’s funeral service will be held privately. Interment will take place at Wards Creek Cemetery.
