Obituary of Roy Morton

Mr. Roy Earl Morton was born in Penobsquis, he was the son of the late Cecil and Ruth Augusta (McQuinn) Morton. Roy served with the Carleton York Regiment during WWII. He was a retired lineman with NBTel and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch # 20. Roy is survived by his wife Effie Morton, his son: Richard Morton (Beverley Blagden) of Rothesay, two daughters: Darlene Ramsay and her husband Raymond and Patricia Foster and her husband Sheldon all of Quispamsis;his sister, Joan Lisson and her husband Don of Sussex,five grandchildren: Adam Morton and his wife Melissa of Edmonton Alberta, Brent Morton of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Joel Foster of the Annapolis Valley NS, Kaitlin Foster of Quispamsis, and Jennifer Ramsay of Kinston Peninsula, his great granddaughter, Joyanna, as well as several nieces and nephews. Roy was predeceased by four brothers: Eldon, Mike, Darrell "Doc", and Robert, his infant sister Dorothy and by his daughter Heather in 1974.
