Obituary of Douglas Parker

Douglas Wayne Parker was born in Florenceville to Charles and Helen Jean (Smith) Parker on July 4, 1942, and lived in Ontario for a short while then returned to New Brunswick and lived with his grandparents. Doug was a hard worker and certainly knew what it meant to work. At a young age he worked at a meat shop in the Saint John Market and helped deliver prepared meats through out Saint John and Kings County. He worked at the Golden Ball, he drove Ambulance and School bus. Doug was a good hearted person, he would give the shirt off his back, and often invited people in to see how real people lived, he was outgoing and loved life, singing, laughing, four wheeling, the outdoors, nature, deer and moose hunting, fishing, his German Shepherd, watching the birds in the feeder and Dallas on TV. Doug was a retired Petroleum Supervisor with Sussex and Studholm Co-op
