Mrs. Alice Mildred Sheehan was born to the late Frank and Phoebe (Northrup) Vail in Belleisle on March 8, 1908. Alice is survived by her daughters: Evelyn Lajoie of Montreal, Gladys Thorne and her friend Levin of Saint John; Frieda Carten of Millcove, Martha and husband Vernon Brown of Quispamsis and Rita Thorne of Youngs Cove Rd.; her daughter-in-law, Marion Sheehan of Saint John; 31 Grandchildren, 57 Great Grandchildren, several great great grandchildren; as well as a several nieces and nephews. Alice was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is predeceased by her husband, Thomas Sheehan; three sons: Charlie, Lloyd and Kenneth; two daughters: Faye Adams and Mildred MacKenzie; her daughter-in-law, Viola Sheehan; her sisters: Muriel Robertson, Mary Little, Pearl Scribner, Olive Wyles and Lena Jeffery Tower; her brothers: Harold and Ralph and her daughter-in-law, Viola (Shannon) Sheehan.
