Stella Mary Burgess died peacefully at the Sussex Health Centre on November 27, 2002, after a brief illness at home. She was born in Sussex on April 1, 1927 a daughter of the late Hedley and Sarah (Robinson) Cameron. She is survived by her special friend Ron Pearson, five sons; Gary (Lucy) of Sussex, Jack (Valerie) of Kingston, ON, Douglas (Linda) of Riverview, Robert (Florence) of Picadilly, Laurie (Jeanette) of Belleville, ON, her daughter Sandra Dunn (Donald) of Smiths Creek, twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren, sisters Elizabeth Baskin, Joyce Chapados (Doug) and Marguerite DeVine, Carol Baton and family and several nieces and nephews. Stella was predeceased by her husband Jack Burgess, grandson John Burgess and sister Doris Flanagan. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road (506-433-2133) on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday November 30, 2002 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Anglican Church, Sussex. Interment will take place at Trinity Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Trinity Anglican Church Building Fund or the charity of the donor's choice.
