Obituary of Eva May London

The death of Eva May London of Sussex occurred at the Sussex Health Centre on March 27, 2007 at the age of 78. Born at Coles Island, NB a daughter of the late Chester and Ethel (Boyd) Crawford. Eva is survived by her children; Barb Guptill (Barry) of Sussex, Elmer Cole (Kathy) of Sussex Corner, Susan MacKenzie (Ken) of Ajax, ON, Margaret Kyle (Roy) of Lower Millstream and Sandy Cole (Stephen Christian) of Sussex Corner, stepsons; Brian London (Karen) of Winnipeg and David London (Rita) of Sudbury, ON, step daughter-in-law Patsy McKinnon (Bob) of PEI, 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, sisters; Hazel Richardson (Earl) of Sussex Sylvia Pagett (Ernest) of Markhamville, brother Donald Crawford (Anna) of Mount Middleton, sisters in law Joyce Crawford of BC and Lillian Crawford of Sussex, numerous nieces and nephews. Eva was predeceased by her 1st husband Frank Cole 2006, her 2nd husband Bayard London 1989, sisters; Jeanette Crawford, Ada Wallace and Marie Anderson, brothers; Roy, Allen, Merton, Harold, Frank, Ronald, Ralph and Robert, step-daughter Connie and stepson Terry. Eva was a member of St. Paul’s United Church, a Past President and Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary Branch #20 Sussex, Thursday Night Ladies Bowling League. She enjoyed throwing darts and jigsaw puzzles. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Sussex Branch #20 Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary will hold a Tribute on Friday at 6:45PM. The funeral service will be held Saturday March 31, 2007 at 11AM at the funeral home chapel with Reverend Philip Dallimore officiating. A private family interment will take place at Newtown Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donation to the Palliative Care Fund of the Sussex Health Centre would be appreciated by the family.
