The death of Murray Lester Floyd occurred December 17, 2007 at the Turnbull Nursing Home, Saint John. He was born July 11, 1963 and was the son of Carcella Floyd (Tays) and the late Percy Floyd. As well as his mother, he is survived by sisters; Eileen (Gordon) Hayward of Wards Creek, Gladys (Andy) Tabor of Hammond Vale, Betty (David) Stanwix of Hillsdale, Dora (Vince) O’Brien of Lakeside, Diane (Doug) DeVine of Jeffries Corner, Bernice (Daryl) Hanlin of Salt Springs, Marilyn Floyd of Sussex, Patricia (Rodney) DeVine of Jeffries Corner and a brother Gerald (Patricia) Floyd of Hammond Vale and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Darrell. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Wednesday from 5-8PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday December 20, 2007 at 2:00PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Salt Springs Cemetery. Donations made to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation or the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
