Obituary of Clifford Levi Floyd

Surrounded by his loving family, Clifford Levi Floyd passed away on June 7, 2023 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Apohaqui, NB, on January 12, 1940, he was a son of the Late Warren and Menota (Sproul) Floyd.

Clifford is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Carol (Pagett), of Apohaqui;  his daughters: Darlene O’Donnell (Andy), and Donna Floyd Hanson (Derrick), both of Erb Settlement, NB; his grandchildren: Emily and Isaac O’Donnell; his sisters: Jean Thompson of Head of Millstream NB, Mabel Black of Mississauga, ON, and  Doris Robinson of Garnett Settlement, NB; his brother, Arnold Floyd of Erb Settlement, NB; his sisters-in-law: Joan Doherty and Sylvia Pagett; his brother-in-law, Eldon Buchanan; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Besides his parents, Clifford was predeceased by his sisters: Bernice Coleman and Grace Robinson; and his brothers, Winsor Floyd and Elmer Floyd.

Clifford will always be fondly remembered for his love for life on the dairy farm on the family homestead.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176) from where a visitation will take place on Saturday, June 10, from 6-9pm. A celebration of Clifford’s life will take place on Sunday, June 11 at 2:00pm from the Wallace Community Chapel.

A heartfelt thanks to the staff of 3C South and the Palliative Care Unit of the Saint John Regional Hospital for their outstanding care with a level of kindness and compassion that is second to none. A special thank you to Dr. Scott Green.
