Obituary of Ada Mary Ross

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Mrs. Ada Mary (Price) Ross announce her passing on July 9, 1997 at the age of 72.

Born in McNamee, NB on December 8, 1924; she was the daughter of the late Everett and Agnes (O'Donnell) Price

Ada was a poet, beautiful pie maker, and a wonderful woman with a full kind heart. She was active in her community and a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Brance #20 Ladies Auxiliary and a past member of the UCW, The Explorers and C.G.I.T. She will be dearly missed.

She will live on in the hearts of her loving husband, Ralph; her daughter, Jeanette Cosman and her husband Walter of Kirkland, Quebec; her son, Gary Ross and his wife Jo Ann of Sydney, NS; her brother, Reg Price and wife Emma of Blackville; her sisters: Christina Orchard and husband Ben of Fredericton, Della Campbell and husband Stan of Stanley and Connie Reid and husband Irvine of McNamee; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; as well as several nephews and nieces.

Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her brother, Murray Price and her sister, Molly Price

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10, 1997 from 2-4 and 7-9PM. 

A service celebrating Ada’s life will be held from St. Andrews United Church on Friday, July 11, 1997 at  2:00pm.
