Obituary of Judy Lorraine Sterling

It is with sadness that the family of Judy Lorraine Sterling announces her death which occurred at her home on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. Born in Sussex, NB, on October 5, 1962, she was a daughter of the late Alan and Marjorie (Payne) Sterling.

Judy is survived by her sons: Shawn (Megen) Thomas of Wards Creek, NB and Cory (Sarah Hooper) Cunningham of Newtown, NB; her grandchildren: Harper, Brooklyn, Addison, Vivian, and Owen; her siblings: Diane Sterling of Sussex, NB, Phyllis Crothers of Sussex, NB, Brian (Kim Patterson) Sterling of Knightville, NB, Leslie Sterling of Smiths Creek, NB, and Tony (Jane) Wardell of Sussex, NB. Judy is also survived by the godmother of her children, Linda Doyle, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Judy was predeceased by her brother, Earl Sterling, and the godfather of her children, Carl Doyle.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) from where a visitation will be held on Thursday, December 28 from 4-7 pm. A celebration of Judy’s life will take place on Friday, December 29 at 1:00pm from the Wallace Community Chapel. Interment will take place in the spring of 2024.
