Obituary of David Aubin

It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late David Joseph Aubin announce his passing on Sunday, March 3, 2024, in Coles Island, NB. Born in Fredericton Junction, NB on July 29, 1962, he was a son of the late Gilbert and Marie Anita (Rossignol) Aubin.

Dave will live on in the hearts of his wife, Diane ; his sons: Timothy Aubin (Carole) of Penobsquis, NB, Eric Aubin of Coles Island, NB, and Robert Aubin of Salisbury, NB, and his godson, Mitch Aubin; his grandchildren: Maya, Mya, Skyler, Morgan, Hunter, Jesse, Brooke, Harmony, Archer, Rhyver, and Charly; his great grandchild, Jayce; his daughters-in-law: Sabrina McFarlane (Tony and Dave’s best friend), and Kelsey Bannister; his brothers: Gilles Aubin (Ann-Marie), John Aubin (Mona), Joseph Aubin, Basile Aubin (Jenny); and his sisters: Gilberte Bonenfant (Laurien), and Laurie Ann Dugay (Ivan). Dave is also survived by several nieces and nephews. As well as his dear friend Shirley Lemieux.

Besides his parents, Dave was predeceased by his brother, Felix; his godparents, Leo and Linda Aubin; and his nephew, Pierre Aubin.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176) from where a visitation will be held on Saturday, March 9 from 6-8pm. A celebration of Dave’s life will be held from the Wallace Community Chapel on Sunday, March 10 at 11:00am. Right after celebration of life a light lunch and get together will be at the Grand Washademoak Lions Club in Coles Island NB.
