Obituary of John Cunningham

Mr. John Edwin Cunningham of 2968 Rte 121 Apohaqui, passed away peacefully at the Sussex Health Centre on April 11, 2007 at the age of 75.

Born in Roachville on June 15, 1931, he was the son of the late Norman Cunningham and Emma (Copp) Hayward Cunningham. John is survived by his wife Doris; two sons: Russell and his wife Barb of Sussex, David and his companion Penny Steeves of Riverview; his brother, Norman Cunningham and his wife Anna of Long Creek; his sister, Clara Grey and her husband Aubrey of Belleisle Creek; his sister-in-law, Ruby Hayward of Sussex; nine grandchildren: Tina Black and her husband Robert, Kim McIntyre, Anthony Cunningham and Susan Surrette, Jackie, Amanda Petley and Matthew Grant, Corey Cunningham and Leslie Sherwood, Alexis Cunningham, Kyle, Tamara; 14 great grandchildren: Daniel, Jeremy, Evan, Samantha, Katelyn, Nakeesha, Brandon, Mason, Chase, Tyler, Cody, Devon, Bianca and Dylan; as well as several nieces and nephews.

John loved camping, gardening, playing crib, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Prior to retirement he worked in construction and was a truck driver with the Department of Transportation.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Friday 2-4, 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at 11:00 am with Rev. Linda Fuller officiating.

The interment will take place at Riverbank Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations made to the Sussex Health Centre or to the memorial of the donor
