Obituary of Daphne Tricco

Mrs. Daphne Mae Tricco of Roachville, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on March 20, 2007 at the age of 62.

Born in Gander on January1, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Ina (Sparkes) Head.

She enjoyed bingo, traveling to Newfoundland and Ontario and working at Sobeys and Lawtons.

Daphne is survived by her companion Ray Gillies, two sons: Tony Tricco and his wife Vesna of Stoney Creek, Ontario, Todd Tricco and his girlfriend Bonnie Hatt of Saint John; two step-children: Tim Gillies and his wife Amy of Wasaga Beach, Ontario, Nicole Lucas and her husband Trevis of Cold Lake, Alberta; four sisters: Betty Buckley and her husband Jack of Belleville, Ontario, Margaret Dawe and her husband Gerald of Kelligrews, NFLD, Jacqueline Oikawa and her husband Ken of Edmonton, Alberta, Janice Ferrante and her husband Mike of Victoria Harbour, Ontario; three brothers: David Head and his wife Jeanette of Terra Nova, NL, Robert and his wife Flora Butt of Terra Nova, NL, Herbert Head and his wife Carol of Mt. Pearl, NL; two brothers-in-law: Charlie Tricco and his wife Joan of Mississauga, Ontario, Walter Tricco and his wife Hazel of Wassaga Beach, Ontario; eight grandchildren: Colby, Tyler, Brett, Eric, Anna, Laura, Daniella and Emily; one great grandson, Lorenz; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Daphne was predeceased by her first husband, Edward in 1992 and by her son, Gerald (Jerry) in 1985.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Thursday 7-9 and Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm.

The Funeral Service will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 11:00 am, followed by a time of fellowship with the family. The interment will take place at Trinity Cemetery in the spring.
