Mrs. Vola Eudorah Durling of Scenic View Special Care Home Sussex, NB and formerly of Bridgetown,NS passed away at Sussex Health Centre on October 29, 2006. Born in Carlton Corner, NS on October 25, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Flora Edith (Penny) Taylor and the beloved wife of the late Harold R. Durling who passed away in 1975. Vola is survived by her son, Daniel and his wife Barbara of Sussex; her brother, Charles "Lindy" Taylor and his wife Betty of Bridgetown, NS; her sisters-in-law: Lina Taylor of Bridgetown, NS and Anne Taylor of Nanaimo, BC; her grandchildren: Tracey Candy and her husband Philip of Sussex, Tammy Rosa and her husband Jocelyn of Waterdown, Ontario and Timothy Durling and his wife Tracy of Moncton, NB; six great grandchildren: Matthew and Patrick Candy, Emily and Kathryn Rosa, Parker and Grace Durling, as well as several nieces and nephews. Vola was predeceased by her brothers: Melbourne, George, Arch, Ronald and Frank Taylor; and by her sisters: Mary Taylor, Goldie Perry, Beatrice Taylor and Nina Schnare and her great granddaughter, Hilary Candy. Vola was a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion Bridgetown Branch Ladies Auxiliary and St. James Anglican Church in Bridgetown, NS.
